November 2nd I wrote Palladium Books asking about the Second Edition they mentioned. I am concerened with the fact that they make it sound too in compatable with the New titles such as RIFTS and Nightbane that players can not freely move characters from BtS to these other games. My general concerns are that we will ahve to buy the new 2nd. Edtion book b/c all the new stuff (???) will be incompatable with our current stuff.
In short theis means:
Buying the Main Book again...
Buying the sourcebooks again....
Creating new cahracters from square one...
Risking the loss of our verteran characters...
I asked about this and a few more general 2nd Edition questions, and below I have their response (and hopefully my letter)!
I have no doubt there are fans of BTS out there. Its just it needs an
overhaul desperately. Its going to be made more compatible with all of the
other books including Nightbane, Fantasy and of course Rifts. A lot of people
have wanted to bring BTS characters into the other games and other characters
into BTS and are having a real hard time doing it. So we're gonna fix it.
