ArmaTech Industries Weapons
AT-250 Particle Beam Rifle
This is essentially a rifle version of the AT-130 Particle Beam Pistol. It has only recently begun production and is expected to replace the AT-230. It offers greater range, slightly increased damage, and a greater energy efficiency.
Weight: 15 lbs (6.8 kg)
MD: 1D6x10+5
ROF: Single
Range: 1800 feet (549 m)
Payload: 12 shots per E-clip and an incredible 60 shots from an energy canister
Note: A targeting sight gives a +1 to strike
Cost: 55,000 credits, limited military availability.
Note: Available only to the Republic of Japan. Not yet available on the Black Market since it just entered service. If it did get on the Market, it would go for a staggering 225,000+ credits. H-Brand has heard rumors of it, but has not seen one. They cannot duplicate P-beam technology anyway, so there aren't any copies.
Wellington Industries Weapons
WI-26 Double Energy Pistol
This is a very unique weapon. It has two separate firing chambers (one upper, one lower), but only one actual firing port in the center. The lower barrel is a special ion discharger. It fires first, creating an ionized trail to the target. As a side-effect, it produces a mild stun. After the ion discharger fires, the upper particle beam chamber fires. Since it uses the ion trail as a guide, not as much of the energy is lost in the travel. This produces a more powerful blast. However, one of the main drawbacks of this weapon is it's large size. Most people cannot fire it one handed even though it is considered a pistol. To fire one handed requires a PS of 19. Those with lower PS firing one handed suffer a -3 penalty to strike. The E-clip is loaded in the back above the grip.
Weight: 12 lbs (4.5 kg)
MD: 5D6 and roll save vs stun: 16 or higher. On a failed roll the character is -4 to strike, parry and dodge for 1D4 melees. Each sussessful hit increases the duratoin by 1D4 melees.
ROF: Single
Range: 1500 feet (450 m)
Payload: 15 shots
Cost: 30,000 credits
WI-35 Heavy Plasma Rifle and Grenade Launcher
This rugged weapon is a standard plasma rifle mated with an under-carriage grenade launcher. It's not fancy, but it is tough and very reliable.
Weight: 20 lbs (9 kg)
MD: Plasma: 1D4x10
Grenade Launcher: 1D4x10 to a 3' radius for Armor Piercing, 4D6 to a 12' radius for High Explosive
ROF: Plasma: Single
Grenade Launcher: Single
Range: Plasma:2500 feet (750 m)
Grenade Launcher: 1200 feet (360 m)
Payload: Plasma: 30 shots (removable canister)
Grenade Launcher: 5 grenades (clip)
Cost: 48,000 credits
WI Super Series Pistol and Rifle
The super series pistol and rifle are based off of the Double Energy Pistol frame. The double firing chambers were removed in favor of a special laser firing chamber. This chamber uses special focusing lenses to produce a wide beam: instead of the usual thin beam, these are almost two inches wide. This results in more damage than a normal comparable weapon would yield. However, this comes at the cost of drastically increased enery consumption. The rifle is effectively a larger version of the pistol utilizing two E-clips. Note that the same weight penalties apply to the super pistol as to the Double Energy pistol. On the rifle, the second E-clip loads horizontally along the barrel on the right side.
Weight: Pistol: 12 lbs (4.5 kg)
Rifle: 20 lbs (9 kg)
MD: Pistol: 5D6
Rifle: 1D6x10
ROF: Both: Single
Range: Pistol: 2100 feet (630 m)
Rifle: 3000 feet (900 m)
Payload: Pistol: 12 shots (One long E-clip)
Rifle: 20 shots (Two long E-clips)
Note: A targeting sight gives each a +1 to strike
Cost: Pistol: 30,000 credits
Rifle: 45,000 credits
Wilk's Weapons
Wilk's 340 Precision Laser Pistol
This is the latest generation of Wilk's laser pistol. The damage has been improved, and the range has been drastically increased. In fact, it has longer range than most rifles.
Weight: 2 lbs (0.9 kg)
MD: 2D6+2
ROF: Single
Range: 3000 feet (900 m)
Payload: 10 shots
Note: Targeting sight and good balance give a +1 to strike
Cost: 21,000 credits
Wilk's 488 Long-Range Sniper Rifle
This sniper rifle is designed to take out light targets at extreme range. It even has a special "double power" shot option, although it is used at the risk of damaging the laser's barrel.
Weight: 6.5 lbs (2.9 kg)
MD: 5D6 or 10D6 for a double power shot
ROF: Single or double power (2 charges)
Range: 8000 feet (2400 m)
Payload: 15 shots
Note: Targeting sight, good balance, and a built-in bipod give a +1 to strike at long range, and a +2 to strike at closer range
Cost: 37,000 credits
Game Note: When using the double power option, roll a D10. On a roll of 0-2, the laser barrel has been damaged. Reduce all subsequent damage and range by half, and no more double power shots may be fired.
Wilk's 515 Multi-Weapon
The Multi-Weapon was supposed to be Wilk's next great hit. However, after being released, people found the futuristic design too strange and were wary of buying it. As a result, sales were not nearly as high as hoped. This has caused the price to fluctuate drastically. Those who have purchased one, though, have had many good things to say about it. The main weapon is a powerful Ion blaster. Under the ion barrel is mounted a one-shot mini-missile launcher. Finally, a double barreled laser is situated below the hand grip.
Weight: 25 lbs (11.25 kg)
MD: Ion: 6D6
Mini-Missile:: 1D4x10 to a 3' radius for Armor Piercing (standard), 1D6x10 to a 15' radius for Plasma
Laser: 2D6, 4D6 (double), 1D4x10 (short burst)
ROF: Ion: Single
Mini-Missile: Single
Laser: single, double (2 shots), short burst (10 shots)
Range: Ion:2000 feet (600 m)
Mini-Missile: About 1 mile (1600 m)
Laser: 1200 feet (360 m)
Payload: Ion and Laser (special): 40 shots total. Both weapons draw power from the same E-clip.
Mini-Missile: 1; another can be hand-loaded in 2 actions
Note: Because of the placement of the lasers (below the grip), they are fairly inaccurate: -2 to strike with laser. The ion blast, however, has a slightly wider beam than normal, resulting in easier targeting: +1 to strike with ion.
Cost: (51+2D6) thousand (54,000 - 63,000) credits
